Statement of Mission/Vision/Guiding Principles

Persons desiring to make application for project funding should submit a ministry profile as noted under #6 below.

Our Mission
To make disciples, baptize believers, and teach obedience to Jesus Christ.

Our Vision
To spread a passion for the worship of God.

Our Guiding Principles for Missionary, Mission Project, and Ministry Support
1. Like-minded doctrinal beliefs including:
          a. Affirming the complete inspiration, inerrancy, and infallibility of the Bible.
          b. Affirming the virgin birth, full deity, and full humanity of Christ.
          c. Affirming man’s need for salvation through faith alone in Christ alone.
          d. Affirming water baptism for believers only and the Lord’s Supper as ordinances representing one’s identity in Christ yet not necessary for salvation.

2. Evangelistic outreach with a direct verbal or written emphasis.

3. Evangelistic witness in various areas of service including:
          a. Social action ministry.
          b. Church planting in areas having an identifiable lack of evangelical witness.
          c. Discipleship training, leadership development, and theological education.
          d. Student ministry targeted toward the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University.

4. Emphasis towards current or past members having an active CCC involvement.

5. CCC mission resources will support a combination of local, domestic, and international.

6. Qualified candidates as indicated by proposal package including:
          a. A written profile of the missionary or mission project director including:
               i. Spiritual testimony and call to missions
               ii. Overview of background, education, ministry experience
          b. At least one character reference from someone who is not a relative.
          c. A written belief statement.
          d. A written profile and history of the sending organization, if applicable.
          e. An overview with activity/action plan for the mission work and/or project. 
          f.  An overview of the financial and/or supply needs. 
          g. A statement of active church membership at CCC or like-minded church.
          h. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian or provide written authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
